OK in a cosmic way, at 9am this morning I woke up on the dot. It’s the time in the midwest when the memorial started. My neighbor was playing moondance by Van Morrison, and my sister realized her snake was lost at the museum where she works (snake’s name is Rosy).

Well we had a downpour, but when I started walking it was only little drizzles. Neighbor at work says that Embarcadero is flooded. Bit of gladness I decided not to walk that way this morning!

Unless you count two bizarre deaths in my new neighborhood - northerman’s barf, or, the boundary between Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach. A high school kid gets ina fight outside of Denny’s and it ends up in death (a knife was involved). Instigated by being called the N-word. Then a girl leans against a roof [...]
