I love that chair. If your silk is antique, it might be a little delicate for upholstery. Maybe make a couple pillows out of the fancy silk and find something a tougher for the chair? I love how it's very low and has a long thigh area. Not doing myself-oh no. It's like 100$/yard for the silk stuff, and 20$/yard for the chenille, so budget may make the decision.
