Its Footloose for me. My Favorite highlights are the starting credits, the corny dance in the mill and the overal dancing.
There was better music and more of a story in Footloose compared to Flashdance.
The only pros of Flashdance for me were the climax dance scene, the girls and the nude bar.

[...] OK it’s all worth it for Don Sanchez wearing that beret. I read On the Road and (gasp) didn’t really like it. I got a lot of shit for that in college- where we were all pretending to be postmodern- we called it “pomo” not to be confused with the Native Americans of the same name–geek punks writing really obtuse crazy stuff. To not like On the Road was to not like Bob Dylan, or to not like Joni Mitchell. Who did I like instead? Well, if you think there are two people in the world- those that like Flashdance and those that like Footloose, I’d say there is also a binary test that’s quite accurate: those that like Wordworth and those that like Blake. In my life I’ve waffled between them. Currently, I’m in a distinctly Wordsworth frame of mind. I was in Blake world for a long time. Anyways, when I’m feeling puckish, it’s Blake and I can stomach the beats. When I’m feeling complex and introspective, it’s Wordsworth. [...]
