Finished Project
Note, I wanted it to look like this:
Well, done toa degree- the wicker boxes were for the old paint job, which looked like this:
So I just need to add some accents & stuff. Going to use an old vintagey wallpaper behind la toilette (or so that’s the plan, if I have enough energy on this decorating high).
The difference in color: my camera (not using flash) and there’s no natural light in the room, it’s fluorescence, so that’s going to really darken it. It’s a great color, though, just what I wanted, which I envisioned as a Jamaican blue, but it’s actually called Benjamin Moore “poolside”. I notice the flaws, but I managed to surrender an eyeshadow brush to do the fixes, and that worked out quite well.

Looks close! You just need a litte red vase and maybe you could tear down that mirror, paint behind it and get a hanging mirror…room make overs take time! Piece by piece, you know?
Love that blue!

So I just saw Sex in the City- and it's the same blue that she uses to redecorate her office. Agh!!!
