Letter To My Career Coach

Dear career coach,

I did your exercise: “Decide what kind of things I must have,” and I’ve listed below what I want:

A job.

It took me about a half hour to figure that out. Whew! Then, I wrote an answer to your other question: “What kind of things I’d like to have”:

An income

I’m glad I’m doing the work. I can see the benefit and focus. I am now focused on getting a job and an income.

For some context: I think it mostly relied on the fact that I:

Have bills.

Speaking of, your check for $10,000 is on its way.

I also bought your $43.00 book on Amazon, thanks for the half hour, free consultation that I get from it. The lessons in it are *so valuable* especially the one about: reaching higher in my goals. It really gave me confidence.

I asked the other day about fear, fear of rejection and fear of not getting a job before the bills are paid. You hadn’t really addressed that but I look forward to your insights.

One thing: you mentioned that I shouldn’t even think of ageism and that it’s affecting my interviews. How do you know? Also, should I tell myself it doesn’t exist? Does that work? Like I can wish it away. I love that. Mind over matter. Or, the other way around. Anyway.

Scary! What other tricks are happening in my mind.

Can’t wait for our next meeting after I’ve paid, of course.

P.s. I noticed you were picking your nose. Was this a part of the lesson to see if I was noticing your body langauge? I did!
